“Realisation idea for TV.”

We supported participants in a Dutch TV program, ‘Het beste idée van Nederland’. One of them was an old man who had invented a new clip to clip a walking cane on a table shelf, and he won the “Best ID Award”. 1,4 million people watched the program and 46% voted on Mr. Markus idea, the Walking Cane Clip. Koen&Co developed the Walking Cane Clip from idea to a mechanism that is more easy to use for elderly. The clip prevents the walking cane from dropping down and elderly from bending down to pick it up, if they are able to do so. A working prototype was developed to communicate the functionality to the audience at home.
